Case study: British Red Cross, Area Staff Conference
The British Red Cross held their Annual Area Staff Conference at Partnership for Learning Charity Training Conference Centre on 1st November 2011.
The organisation offers volunteer-led humanitarian support to help people in crisis all over the world.
The event took place over a full day in the Theatre of Partnership for Learning Charity with lunch and refreshments served on the adjacent Mezzanine and break out rooms.
Staff were invited to the event from Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside to learn about the organisation’s latest developments and share experiences about delivering services that are crucial to vulnerable people and communities in the region and further afield.
‘We have used Partnership for Learning Charity for our Area Conference for the past several years. The venue is ideal with a large theatre, break-out rooms and separate areas for refreshments and lunch. The staff are always very helpful and accommodating leading up to the event and nothing is ever too much trouble. The event runs perfectly every year with people on hand from Partnership for Learning Charity to assist us with every need. The food is faultless and plentiful.
Thank you to all the staff who assisted on our event this year and we look forward to returning next year.’
